SAWYER COUNTY JAIL WEBSITE INFORMATION One of the primary duties of the Office of the Sheriff is the management of the jail. There are two parts to the Sawyer County Sheriff's Department correctional facility: The Secure Area and the Huber Facility. The Sawyer County Jail is a 86-bed facility with remote supervision housing pods. The County Jail is a maximum-security facility which houses male and female, pre-trial and sentenced offenders. The Sheriff's Department also operates the Huber Law or work release facility. Inmates confined at the Huber Facility are allowed out of the facility for the purpose of work, education, child or elder care and treatment purposes. County Jail - Public Visitation (Guidelines and Schedule) The Jail does not allow inmate visitation for the general public on Monday, Saturday or Sunday.

Go to www.jailatm.com and follow the online instructions to make a deposit. NOTE: There is a service fee of $2.50 or 10% (whichever is larger). These records are open to public view under Wisconsin's Open Records law, sections 19.31-19.39, Wisconsin Statutes. If you are identified as a victim in a criminal court proceeding and would like to receive notification as to the violator’s housing location and subsequent release from custody, please log on to the VINELink (Victim Information and Notification Everyday) website and follow the registration process.
